Dietary Information:
We have tried many different diets with the hope of improving our children’s chronic conditions and Jodi’s fibromyalgia as well. There have been benefits from all of the diets, but we are convinced that the most important dietary advice you can follow is to eat an organic diet abundant in fruits and vegetables. The more raw foods the better!
We would like to give you some tips on eating an organic diet, and also share our knowledge on a few of the most popular diets for autism. Many children have been helped greatly by following a gluten free and casein free diet. We have had our children on and off of this particular diet for years. However, we always keep them casein free because milk just isn’t good for anyone, despite what the dairy industry would have you believe.

The rest is simply up to you! The most important things that we have discovered are:
There are so many helpful books and websites dedicated to eating right. We cannot possibly cover everything that you need to know here, but this is a good start. Just do a search on any of the above topics and you will invariably be flooded with information related to them.
Below you will find some helpful tips on the autism diets that we find to be the most helpful. It isn’t easy to make a dietary change especially when your child already has a self-limited diet. However, we do believe it is worth a try, particularly if your child experiences chronic diarrhea or has other gut issues. It can be beneficial while on your road to healing.
We wish you well on your journey to feed your family healthy healing foods. God Bless You!
