Support, understanding, encouragement...

Resource List For Special Moms:
The following books, magazines, websites and videos have been helpful to me as I have struggled to be a good wife and mother while learning to raise children both with and without special needs. One thing I have learned over the years is that we all do things differently. I spent too long judging others for doing things “the wrong way” instead of focusing on building relationships in the Lord.

As mothers we often have different methods of doing things, and we all need to learn to accept that our way is not the only way. Although there are definitely healthier and more preferable ways of doing things, we should try not to get hung up arguing over our methods. We can learn a lot from one another if we try not to pass judgments, and you may be surprised to see some of your convictions changing over the years too!
